Inside look at the new SimCity Game

EA Games posted a set of videos on YouTube with an interesting look at the new GlassBox Game Engine, the software that will make the new SimCity run. This new game engine will allow the players to run the simulation from the city to the actual inhabitants level. Another new feature is that you will be able to play this game on multi-player, allowing you to build a city, or several connected cities with your friends.

Here’s the first one:

 

Looks good. Especially the underlying complexity makes me think this will be a great addition to the series!

QR Killer Game in Barcelona

In two day’s time, a QR Killer game starts in Barcelona. The game is easy to play and I believe this to be a great way to promote the QR Codes.

The “Arena” is a defined area in Barcelona, this time the Ramblas. Participants should register on the website, where they get their CR Code. This needs to be printed and attached visibly on your clothes.
